2006-08-24 22:21:30spacecowboy1394An impulsive knee-jerk type of reaction is what I need to avoid. How many of you can say the same thing?
2008-10-15 23:20:30Sidorsky1502yep, see a good move, look for a better. but i think that we should be cut some slack when you see a great move... with only ltd seconds, we shouldn't be expected to find a fantastic one
2009-01-28 06:08:08UriBlass19626.2 seconds Nf3+ is not a good move because white not forced to play Kg2 so rejected it

2009-07-10 21:15:23sleiman1188Agree with spaceboy and Sidorsky. Nf3+ is a good move because black is already a queen down and would need to gain some material back. White is forced to play Kh1 (instead of Kg2) to avoid the fork on Ne1 so black can take the rook on d4 reducing the damage further. However compared to mate, this is a poor choice indeed.

2009-09-09 00:33:31SuperSpud1398nice to keep away from those impuse moves; this problem teaches an important lesson
2009-12-01 00:53:12snakehead1508namely, first things first.
2010-03-26 10:39:39mtal611558very easy to fall into the trap where a crafty opponent seeing you're short on time sets a'one last throw of the dice cheapo'hoping you'd get blinded by the bright lights of a potential knight fork of the K and Q(which doesn't work anyway if white goes Kf1 or better still Kh1 after 2)...Nf3+)and misses the mate in 2
2010-03-26 10:43:41mtal611558...and I took the bait hook line and sinker!!!@#?!!

2011-08-18 04:58:00alvaro881478this problem is easy because you are so behing in material you know you have to look for a checkmate
2011-11-28 16:59:42SirRick1703agree with alvaro
2017-09-12 00:48:20superches1111780an intermediate move. also the queen was poison
