2010-08-18 16:01:54barz1628Played 3.Re7. Now I try to understand the Crafty's line below.
2010-08-18 16:02:10barz1628◄ Position ► 6k1/6qN/3p1p2/1ppn4/4Q3/1P4P1/r1P1R1KP/8 b - - 0 1
2010-11-07 09:17:02memo15982. Nxf6+ also wins
2014-02-14 12:24:18Improchess2028@barz Following the Crafty's line bellow, it seems to me that White can play 7.bxc4 (instead of 7.b4),bxc4 8.Qd4 and black will lose the c4 due to "e4" double attack. Black pieces would get stuck on the Q.S, breaking any dream of frotress.
2014-02-14 16:21:06Improchess2028@memo I agree. For example 2...Kf7 3.Qe8+ (3.Qb7+,Kg6! is nice)...Kxe6 4.Qe6+,Kg5 5.h4+,Kh6 6.Re6. But the official solution is a quick mate.
