2009-02-06 07:09:18UriBlass2002blundered by Rg6 surprised that Bxg2 is winning when the idea of f3+ is not to win the bishop d4 but to mate(my first thought after seeing f3 was that black win the bishop but I still do not see how it is good for black).

2011-07-19 16:17:56grom431861the idea of ...f3+ is to block f3, I believe, so white king cannot escape. Just looked at this idea in a problem set, otherwise, would miss it. Can't calculate it all, but ...Rg6 sets up "windmill" which is competing first candidate move.
