2013-01-28 09:03:19UriBlass2002I am surprised by the low rating because people need to see that Nf7 is not good. I saw immediately both Qf7+ and Nf7 and spent time to convince myself that Qf7+ is better because it win the bishop(something that I did not see immediately) so lost rating p
2013-01-28 18:00:55chessisajedrez1758@UriBlass - the problem is a low rating because it is short & is a check. Add 2 - Kh6 (leads to mate) & rating will go 17-1900 rating.
2013-05-07 01:24:34BadMamaJama1284I don't see why Nf7 isn't good, although it admittedly at best trades a N for a R, one point less than netting the B.
2014-11-30 14:17:44UriBlass2002Nf7 is not good because of Bd5 so it even does not win the exchange.
2014-11-30 14:44:58UriBlass2002chessisajedrez. Lot of checks clearly have higher rating so this explanation does not convince me. see s=4984 both check and capture and still has higher rating than 1400
2014-11-30 14:59:36UriBlass2002Here is another example for a problem when you only need to find the only legal move that gives check and the rating is above 1400. Pos=1440
2014-11-30 15:36:23UriBlass2002another example s=25777 less than 1400 but still higher than this problem. do not understand it.
2015-04-13 01:26:20yonil1344The low rated players solving this are after the bishop capture. There was little time and I happened not to see the N fork at all, but still free bishop is a little better than an exchange (so you won't play it even if you don't see that it doesn't
2015-04-13 01:26:38yonil1344_actually_ gain the exchange...)
2017-10-10 11:10:29UriBlass2002I would like to know if the people who realy solve it fast really see the bishop or simply see check so play it. I think first about king later about Queen and Rook and Bishop is not my first thinking.
